Biography: Dr Hai Bin Wan received his PhD from Bath University UK in 1997. He joined National Grid UK in 1997, working on R&D, planning and system operations. Since 2009, he has been working for State Grid Corporation of China in different areas, Deputy Chief Engineer of State Grid International Development Company, Deputy Director General of State Grid European Office, CTO of National Energy Network Company of Portugal, Deputy Director General of Global Energy Interconnection Office of State Grid, Director General of Development Division of Global Energy Interconnection Group Ltd.，Director General of Media Division of Global Energy Interconnection Group Ltd.
