Prof. Xiaojun Wang

Biography: Professor Wang Xiaojun received his B.E. degree and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from North China Electric Power University, Beijing, China, in 2001 and 2008, respectively. In 2014, he was a visiting scholar with the bond plan and joined ALSTOM GRID LTD in the U.K. He now serves as the deputy dean of the School of Electrical Engineering of Beijing Jiaotong University. In the past five years, he has presided over 1 national fundamental research and development project, participated in 2 projects, and presided over 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China and several science and technology projects of the State Grid Corporation of China. For four consecutive years, he has hosted IEEE international conferences with core personnel and served as the vice-chairman of the local executive committee and a member of the technical committee; as the chairman of the 2020 IEEE I&CPS Asia branch. At the same time, he won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress of China Electrotechnical Society, the silver prize of Geneva International Invention Exhibition, and the second prize of Beijing Education Achievement. The current research direction mainly focuses on applying artificial intelligence technology in the field of integrated energy systems and distribution networks and has published more than 40 SCI/EI search papers in this field.
